Angers to Blardiere east of Saumur!
Very long, hot, and tough today. We rode a great deal of it separately as I made a fruitless š¤ journey into Angers. That set me about 8 miles behind Paul that I didn't make up until nearly 4pm when Paul waited for me for 30 minutes in Saumur where we had a (very!) late lunch. He spoke to wife Deb who's on hols in America!
The ride after lunch seemed interminable..... on and on we went, the distances never seeming to closong down.... we went though a small villages with a massive bric-a-brac market and found someone to give us water .... totally intake on ride 4l !!š„µ
Another beautiful Municipal Campsite tonight right on the Loire riverside!! €5.50pppn!!
All shops closed with it being Sunday, so a meal out tonight!!
Special mention to Mireille in Angers who we cadged electric power of of to keep our devices alive!! Thanks a bunch!
