Journey to meet Paul!
Perhaps one of the finest day's offroad cycling I have every experienced. Wonderful downhill sections once I passed the mid Brittany area.
A challenging 58 miles non the less!! But it was another cracking day of riding with considerably more downhill sections than yesterday..... mainly all disused railway interspersed with the Brest to Nantes Canal. No farm, no electric fences or long grass.... not even any cow pats to clog my tyres.... Boring??? You ask, never.... I arrived at the campsite 10 mins after closing....😳..... but lucky I can 'parle vous francais Rodney' and my answer phone message was not just understood, but I gained access to the closed campsite by 1945h.... 45 mins late!! Turkey curry tonight!!😎👍
Made a good friend named Leon from Bordeaux. He was just finishing 3 wk ride before beginning a new life in Rennes with his girlfriend from Lyon. Bon chance Leon, it was great having a couple of 'Britneys' with you!!🤣👍
